I hold an MFA in Theatre with extensive professional experience in Television and Film design. I am also a member of the prestigious Art Directors Guild (ADG), Local 800, Los Angeles, where I hold classifications of Art Director, Set Designer, and Illustrator.

My primary focus in film has been on high concept, big budget, science fiction.  I have screen credit on 3 of the top 10 highest grossing films of all time, and have both won and been nominated for ADG awards in the respective areas of Film and Television.  These accolades are awarded to the entire art department on the project. 

Most recently I was an illustrator for Marvel Studios for the film Thunderbolts, where my art and vehicle designs will be featured in the book Marvel Studios’ Thunderbolts: Art of the Movie.

A through-line of my 20 years of professional experience, is designing bespoke, custom fabricated scenery.  This involves a thorough knowledge of engineering and physics as it relates to these matters, as well an understanding of construction and common fabrication processes.

Whether it is heavily automated scenery for theatre, or vehicles for film, the design and fabrication process is always a little different.  Collaboration between design and engineering, and strong interpersonal communication skills are crucial.  In my career I value these professional relationships above all else.

I reside in Atlanta, Georgia with my lovely wife, Valerie, and our son Sebastian.
